Refund and Returns Policy

Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to UK consumers buying online for personal use. If you are buying in the course of a business, the statutory cancellation rights below do not apply, and any returns are at our discretion. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything in this policy.
Dispatch and delivery
Orders are dispatched within 2 business days. Delivery timescales and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Your right to cancel (change of mind)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. You do not need to give a reason.
To cancel, contact us at enquiries@rarereservetcg.com before the 14-day window ends. You can use the cancellation form at the end of this policy, but you do not have to. Once you have told us you wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
Condition of returned items
To receive a full refund on a change-of-mind return, items should be returned in the condition you received them:
- Sealed product in its original, undamaged, factory-sealed packaging
- Singles in the same condition and protective packaging (sleeve and top-loader or equivalent) we sent
- Graded slabs in the original undamaged case with certification intact
- Accessories unused and in their original packaging
All returned singles are inspected on arrival and must be in the same condition as when sent. Cards returned in a worse condition will not qualify for a full refund.
You are entitled to handle goods only as you would in a shop to check their nature and characteristics. If items are handled beyond this and lose value as a result, we may reduce your refund to reflect that loss. For example, opening factory-sealed product or removing a card from a graded slab significantly reduces its value, and any refund will reflect this. In the case of opened sealed product or opened mystery boxes, the reduction may be the full value of the item.
This does not affect your separate rights if an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, which are covered below.
Items that cannot be returned
- Items damaged after delivery through misuse
- Manufacture packaging removed/opened
Faulty, damaged, or not as described
These rights are separate from the change-of-mind right above and come from the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They apply even to opened or sealed items.
If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, contact us within 30 days of delivery and you can reject it for a full refund. Please send photos of the item and packaging where possible.
Where an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, we cover return postage at the standard tracked rate and refund it to you.
How to return an item
- Email enquiries@rarereservetcg.com with your order number and the reason for return.
- We will reply with a reference number and confirm the returns address below.
- Pack the item securely, using a rigid mailer for cards and slabs.
- Send the item back within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel.
Items sent back without first contacting us will not be accepted.

We strongly recommend a tracked, signed-for service for valuable returns. For change-of-mind returns you pay return postage, and we cannot refund items lost in return transit without proof of postage and tracking.
Refunds
We refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Once a return is received and inspected we will confirm whether the refund is approved.
For change-of-mind returns we refund the original delivery charge at the lowest standard rate we offer. We do not refund delivery if you return only part of an order. Where you paid in part with store credit or a discount, that portion is refunded as store credit.
It may take additional time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.
Selling cards to us
Quotes for collections we buy are non-binding and indicative. If we make a final offer after inspecting your cards and you choose not to accept it, we will return your cards to you at our cost by tracked post.
